Simple, delicious, fresh and full of so much flavour, this red pepper and tomato soup is a real winner and can be eaten all year round – and when cooked in the Thermomix takes no time at all; great if you find yourself looking after children or running out of time!
One of the more underrated autumnal vegetables, pumpkins are absolutely delicious! Roast them in salt and pepper, throw in a few chestnuts, blend it all up and you are finished with a thick, nutty soup with all the flavours of autumn – you won’t find many simpler dishes to make! Continue reading
It’s not often that I cook a vegetarian dish but this combination of spinach, ricotta and pine nuts was a delight. Rich, creamy ricotta with the distinct flavour of spinach and the crunch of toasted pine nuts, all contained in a delicate parcel of pasta and finished off in a creamy sauce – I can guarantee you won’t go to bed dissatisfied!
When Marcus Bawdon asked me to write an autumnal recipe for UKBBQ Mag I quickly worked out I wanted to go for Pork three ways. But the hardest thing to decide was what to serve with it – it took a little while, but once we had chosen it was obvious we had a winner – hasselback “hedgehog” dauphinoise.

Once a fortnight, on a Monday morning we get a delivery of vegetables, eggs and coconut oil from Abel and Cole. Last time around, we received asparagus for the first time this year.
